Classic tour of British Columbia and Inside Passage
The ‘West Canada Tour’ crosses the main and most beautiful resorts and hiking attractions in West Canada, between Alberta and British Columbia. Vancouver Island, the most beautiful island of Northern America and its ancient capital Victoria, the Inside Passage with its extremely high fjords and whales, Skeena River Valley and many sites of native culture, Rocky Mountains, and UNESCO sites, such as Jasper and Banff parks and Columbia Icefield, the biggest glacier in Northern America. During this itinerary, you will go on several excursions to observe wildlife both by sea and by land, with a chance of doing activities such as light horse riding, canoeing, rafting and fishing. The area between Jasper and Banff, where you will spend at least 5 days, will be your main destination on the Rockies. Where the highest percentage of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites is located. Between Jasper and Banff Parks there is a true natural wonder, the millenary glaciers of Columbia Icefield on which you will fly by hydroplane to admire the area above the glacier, a truly stunning landscape. The lakes of Rockies are the other huge sights of the area. Lakes with amazing turquoise or emerald green colors! You will stay, for the last part of your trip, in characteristic lodges: amazing buildings made of fine wood from the West Coast.
