Travel duration 12 Days
Starting price 1.850,00 €

First day Arrival in Cancun
Upon your arrival at the airport you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist you to get your rental car and will accompany you at your hotel, a gorgeous and luxurious four-star hotel, perfectly located on Cancun Beach, ideal for relaxation of the jet-lag and preparing for the spectacular journey that awaits you. Here, having dined at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant or at one of Cancun’s many restaurants, you’ll spend your first Mexican night.
Second Day Playa del Carmen the morning, after breakfast, you will start your adventure. On the coastal road, the “Carretera Federal 307” you will drive for   about 70 km from Cancun to Playa Carmen, your destination today. Arrival and accommodation at the Playa Carmen beach hotel, with breakfast. Less “touristy” than Cancun, in Playa del Carmen you will experience the authentic taste of the Yucatan and its relaxed atmosphere. The beach is gorgeous, and if you have recovered completely after the long flight of yesterday, you can practice snorkeling with a boat on the coral reef with a local guide or, if you want to learn the first rudiments and elementary safety measures to practice this activity, you can attend a first lesson given by an experienced local snorkeler. You will know who to look for these services by consulting your road-book. Dinner and overnight stay

Third Day I Cenotes and Puerto Morelos
Do not cheat on your skill level in these two activities so that you guide know how to settle on what you can or can not do safely! The afternoon will be the turn of the cenotes, in self-managed excursion. These wide sinkholes of fresh water, often circular, with crystal clear and transparent waters, are part of an intricate network of rivers, lakes, and caves that cross the Yucatan subsoil. You will visit several, along the La Ruta de los Cenotes. Diving with mouthpiece or cylinders in crystal clear and incredibly transparent cenotes gives unforgettable emotions, absolutely different from diving at sea.
At the end, return to Playa Carmen, dinner and overnight stay.

Fourth day Tulum and Mayan ruins
In the morning transfer to Tulum (60km) for your first encounter with the Maya culture. The ruins of Tulum, the only Maya site on the
seashore, dominate the beaches and the underlying sea from a spectacular cliff and this unique and scenic location redeems them by not being up to other sites in terms of grandeur and beauty. In fact Tulum is the second Maya site, after Chichèn Itzà for the number of visitors. But before arriving in Tulum, along the way, we recommend a stop at Akumal, where you can dive and watch the great sea turtles.
Arrival in the afternoon atTulum in a delightful set of cottages between palm trees and, of course, by the sea. Double room, breakfast included

Fifth Day Diving in Gran Cenote
You are in Tulum, where the Maya realized a commercial port, still flourishing when the Spanish arrived in the 16th century. What remains today does not surely boast the grandeur and the majesty of other Maya sites, but the special position overlooking the sea gives those who visit these ruins an unforgettable emotion. After devoting the morning to the self-managed visit of the archaeological site, in the afternoon awaits you an excursion to another wonder of this area: the Grand Cenote, a huge set of caves, with stalactites and stalagmites. For those inexperienced, just dive the only head to admire the beauty, while for scuba divers it will be one of the finest diving they may want. Return to hotel and overnight stay

Sixth Day Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve
Today’s day will be dedicated to hiking in the “place where the sky is born”, namely the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, one of the largest protected areas of Mexico, the best ecosystem in Yucatan. The park is in fact composed for a third by rainforest, a third by swamps and wetlands, and a third by marine areas, including the coral reef. All species of wild felines in Mexico inhabit the areas of the park; there are spider and screaming monkeys, other mammals such as tapir and cervid. On the beaches lay eggs the sea turtles and the wetlands offer an ideal shelter for nesting and breeding more than 300 species of birds.
At the end of the excursion, return to Tulum Hotel and overnight stay

Seventh Day Xel’ha Park
Today, another extraordinary experience awaits you at the water park of Xel’ha, the “place where water is born”. Probably the definition of “water park” may seem odd to someone but … quiet, it is not a huge artificial aquarium but a unique and well-maintained ecosystem; certainly an aquarium, but natural, where are mixing the waters of the sea and the sweet ones of springs and underground rivers to form an unrepeatable and extraordinary ecosystem where many tropical fish find their ideal habitat. An experience, indeed, a series of experiences not to be missed on an exciting day that will not be forgotten easily. Here you can swim between dolphins and turtles, immerse yourself in tropical lagoons swamping tropical fish and caves, visiting archaeological sites inside the park. At the end of the visit, return to Tulum hotel and overnight stay

Eighth Day Cozumel Island
Today you return north. Embarking on Playa Carmen on the ferry to the island of Cozumel. Arrival at late arrival and accommodation at the hotel. The island has recently become the destination of several cruise ships, but you can easily escape the crowded tourist and the most popular places, without stopping you from enjoying the island’s natural attractions such as the coral reef near the beach in the southwest coast and the park Chankanaab with its shallow waters but populated with tropical fish. On the east coast, the waters are too moved: just bathe where you see other people do it! The scheduled tour for this afternoon begins on a ferry for about a quarter of an hour will sail along the west coast from San Miguel, and then will continue in submarine, for about three quarters of an hour, and will allow you to admire the coral reef.

Ninth Day Snorkeling fra manta rays and sea lions
This exciting experience awaits you this morning: you will swear with it manta rays. In small groups you will receive instructions on basic rules of snorkeling or diving with oxygen tanks, if you prefer, and how to approach these gorgeous fish. Then you will immerse yourself, under the watchful eye of the expert guides, safely, amongst them the manta rays and all the colorful marine fauna that accompanies them. You can swim, feed, and touch them. Of course you will be provided with the equipment. Then you can relax on the beach and, if you like, buy the photos of the experience you just made. The rest of the day will be dedicated to a self-managed visit to Parque Punta Sur, with its lagoons and mangroves. Do not miss the panorama from the top of the lighthouse and the semicircular beach with the boat ride included in the ticket price. Return to your hotel and overnight stay.

Tenth Day Return to Cancun and return flight
After breakfast, boarding the ferry to Playa Carmen; from here onwards to Cancun airport, deliver car rental and return flight
